Judith Ann McIntye was born on September 30, 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma from the loving union of the late Lee Andrew and Maggie McIntye. Better known as "Judy", she led a full and glorious life in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended Booker T. Washington High School, graduating in 1959. During her school years, Judy received several certificates of honor for perfect attendance. She worked at Daner's, which is known today as Furr's Cafeteria and St. Johns Hospital for over 30 years.
Judy's greatest joy was the Church and giving back to others. She was active in her service to the Lord and served her community in various capacities.
She leaves to reflect on her loving memory; 2 sisters, Dorothy Gordon, Tulsa, and Jewelene McIntye, Minneapolis, Minnesota; a brother, Arthur Lee McIntye & wife, Camile, Ft. Washington, Maryland; a caravan of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
You may visit "Judy", as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home in Tulsa on Sunday from 1 PM to 4 PM and on Monday from 9 AM to 11 AM.
The Service of Remembrance will be on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 1;00 P.M. in teh Greater Grace Temple, 1010 E. 56th Street. Suffragan Bishop, Dr. Donald O'Neil Tyler, Sr., will officiate.
The Christian committal will follow in Rolling Oaks Cemetery in Tulsa.
