Obituary

Mrs. Judy E. Perkins, after 65 years, finished her course of life from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

On August 29, 1949, a beautiful, baby girl was born to Velma M. Glass and Rivers Powell in Los Angeles, California. She attended Manual Training High School, and graduated with the Class of 1967. She earned a degree in Business Administration. She later attended college and was blessed with a son, she named Bobby Anderson.

Judy was later married and from this union, she was blessed with a daughter, whom she named Lucianna "Missy" Perkins. She gained employment at Southwestern Bell, and then went on to serve as a Bailiff for Jim Edmondson at the Muskogee County Courthouse. After a desire to complete her family, she was then blessed with another daughter, whom she named Maegen Walker.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother and father, her son, Bobby Anderson, her brother Donaldson Powell, along with other close friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her daughters, Lucianna Perkins-Olive, Muskogee, Oklahoma and Maegen Walker, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her loving soulmate, Theophilis Walker, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and a caravan of nieces, nephews and friends.

The Hour of Remembrance will commence on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. In the 18th & Denison Church of Christ. Brother Eric Rodgers, Pastor, will Officiate.

Burial will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery at Vian, Oklahoma.
