Obituary
Mrs. Julian M. Stone, age 69 and a resident of Los Angeles, California, formerly of Oklahoma, went to Heaven on June 10, 2006 from Los Angeles.
Julian Maxine Ligons was born to James and Amelia Ligons on January 9, 1937 in McIntosh County, Oklahoma. After her elementary schooling in Hoffman, she graduated from Grayson High School. She took extended courses in business and photography. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing, ceramics, knitting and photography.
Julie was united in marriage to Alvin Stone in September 1960 in Wichita, Kansas and moved to California. She was blessed with a beautiful and devoted daughter, Yolandra Deneene. Julie was employed as a United States Postal Worker from 1968 to 1998.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior in November of 1999. After her conversion, she expressed her love and devotion to the Lord.
She leaves behind; her daughter, Yolandra D. Allen; 5 sisters; 3 brothers; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
The final tribute will be on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the Church of God Evening Light Saints of Hoffman, Oklahoma.
The Christian Committal will follow in Hawkins Cemetery, Hoffman, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be on Friday from 12 Noon until 7 PM at the funeral home in Tulsa.
