Obituary

Jurlene Gilford Hubert was born to the precious union of Jeff and Theo Cotton Gilford. She was the first of 6 children born to the family. Jurlene received her education at Wagoner Lincoln Public Schools. Jurlene accepted the Lord as her Personal Savior at Paradise Baptist Church of Wichita, Kansas.

In early years, she was married to Russell Clayton, a union that produced 11 children, two of whom preceded her in death. Later, Jurlene married Edison Hubert, who preceded her in death as well. Jurlene was a God fearing lady who loved family. Her hobbies included shopping, dressing up, and keeping a clean home. On Friday December 15, 2009 God offered his Hand to Jurlene to bring her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two children Bobby Gene Clayton, and Karen Kay Clayton, and four brothers.

Remaining to cherish her precious memories: nine wonderful children: her sons Russell Jr., Tulsa, OK., Richard Allen, Arlington, TX., Robert, Earnest Lee, Edward, and Kevin, all of Tulsa, OK., and Steven, Palmdale, California, two daughters: Margaret Ann Clayton, Tulsa, OK., Jurlene Clayton Foster, Claremore, OK., one brother Lon Gilford, Tulsa, OK., along with a host of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and other friends.

Services will be Wednesday December 23, 2009 at 11AM, at Praise Christian Faith Center located at 4748 S. 31st West Avenue in Tulsa. Visiation for Ms. Hubert will be Tuesday from 12Noon to 7PM in Tulsa.
