Mrs. Kanzetta M. Anderson, after 64 seasons, left this life for a life eternal on Saturday, July 21, 2007 from St. John Medical Center.
She was born in Tullahassee, Oklahoma Kanzetta Wallace on the first day of January, 1943, the daughter of Clowson and Corabell Thompson Wallace.
She attended Wheatley grade school, Sadler Junior High School and Manual Training High School in Muskogee.
Later in life, she married Bobby G. Anderson in 1958 and this union produced 5 children. During this period of time, she worked as a civil servant, while her husband served in the United States Air Force.
She traveled the world, residing in Germany, England, France, Italy, Puerto Rico and Jamaica.
Kanzetta was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church in Tulsa and will be missed by her dear friends.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby G. Anderson and her best friend, James Edwards.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her children, Donald Anderson, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lamonn Anderson, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Janette Johnson, Atlanta, Georgia, Yvette Anderson-Downing and John Downing, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Darcell and Bobby Walker, Oklahoma; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Sylvania Herron, Burton, Michigan, Juanita LaFayette Durham, Muskogee, Oklahoma, Sandra kaye Hill, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Aaron and Brenda Wooldrige, Flint, Michigan; along with other relatives and friends.
The tribute will be on Friday, July 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Macedonia Baptist Church of Muskogee. Reverend Larry H. Smith, Sr., is the gracious host Pastor and Bishop George Palmer, Officiating. The Christian Committal will follow in Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee.
You may visit Mrs. Anderson, as she slumbers at the funeral home in Tulsa on Wednesday from 12 Noon to 6 PM and at the funeral home in Muskogee on Thursday from 12 Noon to 6 PM and Friday morning from 10 AM to 12 Noon.
Casket bearers will be Ryan Anderson, Keyandrae Basham, Daryll Parker, Aaron Woodridge, Jimico Barnes, Matthew Carrington, Lamon Cortez Anderson and Lamon Anderson, Jr.
