On the 13 ^th day of June 1983 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a precious baby girl was born unto Sheldon Sr and Kim Griffin, whom they affectionately named Karla Annette Griffin.

Karla's early school days lead her to Berlin, Germany and various other States before finishing her school days at Tulsa Central High School where she was a member of the elite TC Braves choir. Karla later attended Tulsa Community College. Karla accepted Christ at an early age at Boiling Springs Baptist Church in Clarksville, Tennessee; she later transferred her membership to Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK. She was very active in Sunday school, choir and Girl Scouts. Karla remained employed in the medical field many years as an Office Assistant and ER Admit Rep until her illness forced her to stop working.
