The sunrise of Katherine Hinson was on March 3rd, 1966, in Kansas City, MO. She was the eighth child of Walter and Geneva Hinson.

Katherine accepted Christ into her life at an early age and was baptized becoming a member of Pleasant Grove in Tullahassee, Ok. Katherine received her education at Carter G. Woodson High School where she graduated in 1982. She attended Northeastern State University and completed some college courses and later became a teacher at Brenda's Childcare. She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed family gatherings. On December 8, 1989, a cold wintry day, she was joined in holy matrimony to Anthony Wilson Sr., and of this union one child was born, Anthony Wilson, Jr. Katherine thought the world of him and wasted no time spoiling him rotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Geneva McConnell and Walter Hinson, Sr., sister, Walter "Mae" Hinson, and brother, Kenneth Cowans.

She leaves to cherish her memories; son, Anthony Wilson, Jr., of Muskogee, OK ; brothers, and sisters, Leslie (Sheron) Hinson of Kansas City, MO, Rita Hinson of Kansas City, MO, Brenda (Glenn) McDonald of Muskogee, OK, Tresea Hinson, Joyce Marshall, Lisa Hinson, Roberta McConnell of Muskogee, OK, Reginald (Angie) Hinson, and Shirley McConnell of Tulsa, OK; special cousin, Felicia Teague of Muskogee, OK; special friend, Ruby Anderson of Muskogee, OK; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mrs. Katherine Wilson, in her 56th season of life, dozed into everlasting peace on Tuesday evening, June 21, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her family by her side.

A Graveside Ceremony Katherine's life will commence on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Marshall Cemetery in Okay, Oklahoma.
