On June 6, 1948, a beautiful, baby girl was born to Alan and Clara Mae Jolly in Muskogee. They named her Kathleen. Affectionately called "Kathy", she grew up in the "Reesa Dition" area of town. Kathy accepted Christ at an early age while attending Bethel A.M.E. Church, where she served faithfully.
Kathy attended Langston Elementary and Manual Training High School in Muskogee and Carter G. Woodson High School in Tallahassee.
Later, she earned her Dental Assistant's license and worked for 32 years for Dr. H. E. Tollett and Dr. Robert C. Johnson before her retirement. Later, Kathy joined Macedonia Baptist Church, where she served the Lord faithfully as Pastor's Aid President and also on the Usher Board until her health began to fail.
