Obituary

Kathryn M. Hill, after blessing us for 85 years, fell asleep with Jesus on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005 in Muskogee. Her time began on Nov. 27, 1920 in Wagoner. She was born from the loving union of Earnest and Lutishia Wright and grew up a loving, happy child. She attended Lincoln School in Wagoner and joined the First Baptist Church at an early age. After reaching adulthood, she married Joe Hill in the Winter of 1940. Together, they made their home in Boynton, where she became a member of the Cane Creek Baptist Church. Their loving union was blessed with 9 children. A son, Leonard preceded her in death. Mrs. Hill always met everyone with a smile, sharing cheerful words. She loved spending time with her family, singing and playing games with her children and grandchildren. Her legacy continues through her beautiful family; her children Barbara Gladney [Charles], Muskogee, Evelyn Matheny [Jot], Aurora, CO, Jane Lewis, Muskogee, Wayne Hill [Susie], Millington, TN, Melton Hill

The tribute to Mrs. Hill will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. in the sanctuary of the Timothy Baptist Church, 5530 West Okmulgee Avenue.
