Keith Dwayne Williams was born on December 4, 1956, the son of Isaac Williams and Tharris Joan [Sells] Burgess in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He grew up in Oklahoma City and later in life returned to Minnesota, where he remained until he moved back to Muskogee in 2002 to care for his mother.
Mr. Williams was a very loving, caring man who cherished his wife and children. He was a devoted husband and father, who turned "3 unruly children" into beautiful, functioning adults as his family described him. Regardless of how many people greeted him during the day with "how are you?, " his answer was always " I have no right to complain." He was always smiling and always ready to help everyone, and possessed a noticeably "boisterous" laugh. His laugh was so unique, that when he and his wife attended a comedy show, the comedian would always pick him out by his laugh.
Mr. Williams lived his life by God first, family and the his company. He loved his dogs and cats and he'd come home singing "Daddys' home!" He was always singing to God "gimme gimme Grace" or "when I need" which were some of his favorites.
He fell in love with Maryjo H. Hahn and they have remained married for 34 years. He has always taken care of her and their children and has been by her side faithfully during her illness over the last year. His devotion and leadership for his family will be dearly missed.
