IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kelsey Renee
Jones Iacano
June 17, 1995 – September 7, 2024
Ms. Kelsey Renee Jones, in her 29th season, received her rest on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
On June 17th, 1995, Kelsey Renee Jones-Iacano was born in Bartlesville Oklahoma to Dr. Keith D Jones & Shelly Holland-Taylor. Kelsey attended elementary school in Waynesville MO, and Deer Creek Middle School in Edmond OK. She went on to Deer Creek High School and graduated in 2013. She loved drama class, Cheer, Softball and track. After graduation she went on to attend Langston University. Following her years at Langston she worked at McBride Orthopedic Hospital as a patient coordinator before accepting a position at Tinker Air Force Base as a materials expeditor for the E3 AWAC Aircraft.
In December 2016 Kelsey met her husband Nicholas Iacano and they married on January 18th, 2020. On July 20th, 2021, she welcomed her beautiful son Greyson Keith Jones who was her WHOLE world!!
Kelsey was so dedicated to being a mom to Greyson and lived her life for him. In the last few years, she began to travel and started to do the things she really enjoyed. She travelled by plane, train and automobile. No matter where her adventures took her you could count on her to bring the fun. Each person here probably can recall a funny story with her. She loved to banter and seemed to have the ability to brighten any room she entered. Kelsey had a very soft heart and would often help the less fortunate, especially the homeless. During the holidays she loved to fix plates and drive around and hand them out. This brought her heart so much joy. One year she was given $50.00 for her birthday, and she kept it in her wallet for several months. She felt Gods calling one morning and ended up giving it to a homeless man who clearly needed it more than she did. As a teen she attended Oak Hills Church in Edmond and cherished the relationships she built there. After falling away from the Lord in her early 20's she felt Gods calling again started to attend People's Church in Oklahoma City. On May 15th, 2022, Kelsey made the decision to dedicate Greyson to the Lord and wanted to raise him to know Jesus. On April 16th, 2023, she decided to rededicate her life to the Lord and was baptized again. We take comfort in knowing that she is now in Heaven safely in the arms of Jesus.
Family was EVERYTHING to Kelsey and she had a very special bond with each of them. She is survived by her son Greyson, her parents Dr. Keith D Jones (Suzanne) of Edmond OK, Shelly Taylor (Eric) of Oklahoma City. Siblings JC Trottingwolf (Deisha) of North Carolina, Nicole Brown of Edmond OK, Miranda Taylor of Oklahoma City, Jordan Taylor (Sabella) of Dallas Texas and Erica Taylor of Edmond OK. Grandparents Cliff Holland & Sue Lucas. Aunts and Uncles Johnny Holland, Candy Clark (Tom), Larnell Stokely (Kim), nephews Kashton, Karson and MJ. Kelsey also leaves behind several cousins and extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Iacano and paternal grandparents Leon and Ioma "Noan" Jones.
