IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth Glenn
Mason
July 25, 1944 – August 4, 2022
I was born on July 25, 1944. My father, O. D. Mason, my mother, Lelia J. Walker, and my brother, Lewis Mason, have preceded me in death.
I was raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma, attending the local school system, more particularly Douglas Elementary School, Sadler Junior High School, and subsequently graduating from Manual Training High School with the class of 1963.
I joined Rayfield Baptist Church, Muskogee, Oklahoma, at an early age. I moved my religious membership to local churches as I relocated in Oklahoma City and in Louisiana.
After graduating from high school, I joined the United States Navy for a period of four years traveling around the world. When I was discharged from the Navy, I returned to Muskogee, then briefly lived in Oklahoma City and in the state of Louisiana.
My last full-time employment was with the Muskogee Sanitation Department prior to my retirement. My favorite pastimes have been hunting and fishing, and I moved to Wagoner, living on Ft. Gibson Lake. I subsequently joined the Brushy Creek Baptist Church, ultimately becoming a deacon.
Mr. Kenneth Glenn Mason, in his 78th year, received his "Earthly Discharge" on Thursday evening, August 4, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
I leave the following to mourn my death: wife, Earlene Mason of Bastrop, Louisiana; sister, Hedy Mack of Plano, Texas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousin, nephews, nieces, classmates, church family, and friends.
Funeral Service for Deacon Mason will be on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Brushy Creek Baptist Church, 11754 South 432 Road, Chouteau, Oklahoma 74337.
The final salute will commence in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, 1423 Cemetery Road, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma at 12:30 PM, with the United States Honors Team.
