Obituary

Kiara Laneice Beasley arrived on earth in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 16, 1989 from the union of Kathleen Nash and Mario Jackson.

Affectionately referred to as "Ke-Ke" by family and close friends, Kiara moved to Muskogee at the tender age of 12.  The nurturing of her parents, Roscoe and Barbara Beasley played an integral part of her development into a wonderful woman who had an inspiring personality.  Kiara attended Boynton-Moton Elementary School and Muskogee High School, where she graduated with the Proud Class of 2008.  She also attended Langston University and Northeastern State University.  She was sweet, tenderhearted and very protective.  Kiara always looked out for her siblings and was an amazing friend and confidant to those closest to her.  Ironically, at the same time, she was the family historian,  a "goof-ball" who loved to dance and have a good time, and enjoyed fun time with her family.  She was an amazing daughter, and a loving mother who cherished life and family.

Her commitment to Christ was evident through her career and her service to the Lord in her Church, New Jerusalem Baptist Church.  She was a Co-Teacher at Youth Central , but she played a "lead" role in helping to develop the children she worked with.  At New Jerusalem, she was the passionate leader of the New Jerusalem Youth for Christ, better known as "NJY4C!"

Kiara Laneice Beasley, in her 29th season of life, "took flight with Angels to thine place of rest" on Saturday, May 5, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earnestine and Joseph Beasley.

Those that wait on the Lord: her son, Demetrius Vallier;  her special friend and father of her son, Herbert Vallier;  her parents, Reverend Roscoe and Barbara Beasley, Sr.; her siblings, James Watson, Seattle, Washington, Jerome Beasley, Muskogee, Oklahoma, David Beasley, Muskogee, Oklahoma, Temesha Bates, Houston, Texas, Roscoe Beasley, Jr., Muskogee, Oklahoma, Deanne Beasley, Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Brittany Beasley, Muskogee, Oklahoma;  along with a caravan of other relatives and friends.

The Hour of Remembrance for Kiara will commence on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 12 Noon in the most holy sanctuary of the Timothy Baptist Church.  Pastor Kelly Payne is the gracious host, Reverend Anthony Wooden will officiate and Pastor Lester Beasley will deliver the Eulogy.  The Christian Committal will follow in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee.

You may visit Kiara, as she slumbers in sweet repose on Friday from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the New Jerusalem Baptist Church,  1715 Wewoka in Muskogee.
