"a Soldier's Tribute"

Kimberly Dawn Powell was born November 2, 1971 to Barbara J. & Lonell Powell. Kimberly was a gift from God and the sunshine of our life.  She was beautiful inside and out. Kim was baptized at the age of eleven at Antioch Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member. She loved God and prayed prayers of Thanks daily for all he has done for her.

Kimberly graduated from Nathan Hale High School from the Class of 1989. Shortly after she enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served 7 years in the Med Corp. After being discharged with honors she went to work at St. Francis Hospital and attended Phoenix University at the same time.  She remained with the hospital until she was unable to work any longer.  But as always she remained diligent and faithful and received her Bachelor's Degree in Science Technology from the University of Phoenix.

On April 17, 2018 at the Eleventh hour God sent his angels to bring Kim home to him. She loved God with her whole heart, mind, and strength.

Those left to cherish her memories; two sons who she loved dearly John Charles and Korey Terell, four grandchildren, her mother and father Barbara J. & Lonell Powell. Five sisters, one brother, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and so many friends.

John 3:16    For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
