Obituary
Mr. Kori Drew, in his 25th year, surrendered his soul on Friday, July 19, 2013 from Okmulgee.
On March 23, 1988, a handsome bundle of joy was born and named Kori Riko Drew. He was later nicknamed "DrewBoy".
Kori grew up in Okmulgee, where he attended Okmulgee Public schools and also worked various jobs during his life.
Some of his fondest memories as a child began with his grandpa, Dave, taking him fishing and his grandma Norma setting him straight. Kori loved horses, collecting old cars and riding motorcycles. Kori was well known and didn't mind holding a conversation with anyone.
He leaves to lament his death; his daughter, Kenzi and her mom, Monta; his mother, Sherry Drew, Okmulgee; his father, Terry Miles [LaChelle], Muskogee; his brothers, Kodi Drew [Jalisa] and Terryn; his sister, Shanaa Massey; his grandparents, Dave and Norma Drew, Thomas and Naomi Gannon; his Aunts, Donna [Bernard] Wilson, Sky Drew; his Uncles, Derl Finley [Kia], David Manning [LaDonna], Troy Miles and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Final Hour with Kori will be shared on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. in the Saint Matthew Baptist Church of Okmulgee. Reverend McKinley Rice, Pastor, will officiate.
