IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Larnell "Booga"
Laron Stokely, Ii
October 29, 1984 – March 10, 2023
On October 29, 1984, at 10:54 P.M., Larnell Laron Stokely, II, was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital to Larnell Laron Stokely Sr. and Kimberly Stokely.
Larnell attended Okmulgee Public Schools, graduating with the Class of 2003. Affectionately referred to as "Booga," Larnell participated in multiple sports, ranging from track and field to football.
In 2004, Larnell decided to make a significant change and difference in his life and that was when he enlisted into the United States Air Force. He served his Country honorably.
On April 10, 2006, Larnell Laron Stokely II and Shanaa Massey had a beautiful baby girl and they named her Laneiya Cenaye Stokely.
Larnell, the "booga with tha suga" Stokely was always the life of the party. There would never be a time you wouldn't witness a huge, inviting smile on his face. Larnell led a simple life and made the best of every moment. He enjoyed making people laugh because he enjoyed hearing the laughter of others and seeing everyone happy.
2016 was the point and time in Larnell's life when he thought he needed to make a decision at the "Y" in the road. Larnell made the decision to be apart of the United States Air Force (Reserves) but worked as an active duty employee at Tinker Air Force base, Midwest City Oklahoma.
In 2017 Larnell moved back to the home front, Okmulgee Oklahoma, where he then began working for Braden Winch.
Larnell then decided to further himself by working at the Jack C. Montgomery Veterans Administration Medical Center. He specialized in Medical supply transport.
Larnell then took the step to further his education at Oklahoma State University, Okmulgee branch, where Larnell was perfecting the skill of becoming a welder and machinist.
