IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Larry Eugene
Cotton
January 16, 1955 – March 5, 2024
On January 16, 1955, a handsome baby boy was born to Imogene (Bryant) Cotton. He was the first-born of four children, and this blessing was given the name Larry.
Larry spent his first years at Douglas Elementary and later graduated from Muskogee High School. Larry was very much loved by his family and the uncountable number of friends he gained along the way. Just like his Mother, he never met a stranger. He touched many lives during his time here. Larry worked as a bus driver, for many years, for Muskogee Public Schools Transportation Department. Along the way, Larry was given the nickname "Chic" and "Rotten Cotton" by many of his friends.
On March 5, 2024, the Lord called Larry home. He will truly be missed, but we know he has gone "Home" and is in a much better place.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to treasure his memory, four children, Marla "Lanie" Cotton-Johnson (Lonnie) of Marietta, GA; Corey Cotton of Muskogee, OK; Armeshia Cotton of Venus, TX; & Trecol Myers (Priscilla) of Muskogee, OK; two brothers, Gary Bryant & Kenneth "Moon" Bryant, both of Muskogee, OK; one sister LaShonda (Dyer) Porter of Providence Village, TX; twelve grandchildren, Leilani Iman, Briontae Shabrail, Torey Latrell, Isaiah Laith, Jaleel Kyree, Aureyanna Latrell, Rien "Bubba" Keith, Ariel Latrell, Randy Keith, Ronald "Tre" Keith, Taylor Nicole, & Tea Kena; one niece Sarah Porter; six great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Service of Memory for Mr. Cotton will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM in The Antioch Temple of Hope, 500 West Broadway. Dr. Marlon J. Coleman, Pastor, will officiate.
You may visit Larry, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., on Friday, March 15, 2024 between the hours of 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
