Mrs. Laurie Montgomery, a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, stepped into eternity on Saturday morning, July 2, 2005 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Laurie Matilda Green was born to a God fearing postal worker and a truly noble housekeeper on June 5, 1958. Her parents, Lorenza and Miriam Green raised her in a church environment from a very young age.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Laurie leaves to lament; her devoted husband, Larry L. Montgomery, Tulsa, OK; her daughter, Nesli-Daun S. Ventura, San Diego, CA; 2 grandchildren, Jordan and Sarai; her mother, Miriam H. Green, Tulsa, OK; a sister, Joan Fox, Tulsa, OK; her brothers, Harold "David" Gibbs, Inglewood, CA, Edward "Butch" Gibbs, Jenks, OK, Landry E. Green, Loren W. Green and Lantz E. Green, all of Tulsa, OK; along with a caravan of other relatives and friends.
The final tribute to Mrs. Montgomery will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in the Sanctuary of the Covenant Family Church, located on the corner of North Hartford Avenue and East 36th Street North in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pastor Stephen Rathod will officiate. The Christian Committal will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
