Leo James Neal was born on March 21, 1950 in Beaumont, Texas to Rosa Mae Francis and Walter Neal. He departed this life on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at home due to kidney and liver failure.
He was married to Bonita Ackerson on June 13, 1969. Within this union came two beautiful children, Tanara Neal and Gerald Davis-Neal.
Leo Graduated from trade school in Okmulgee, OK as a mechanic. He worked as a mechanic and welder. He enjoyed living life to the fullest and he enjoyed spending time with his children and granchildren. He loved his family and enjoyed being around his family and friends. He was a "Jack of All Trades"
He is survived by his children, Tanara Neal and Gerald Davis-Neal(Junior), his mother, Rose M. Goudeau, sisters Lucille Powdrill, Lucinda Reagan, Essie McPherson, Cheryl Cooper, Beatrice Goudeau, his brothers, Emile Goudeau Jr, Charles Goudeau, Larry Goudeau, Willie Goudeau, his Grandchildren, his Great-Grandchildren, his best and dearest friend Mary Alexander, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonita Ackerson-Neal, his father Emile Goudeau Sr, his brother, Leon J. Goudeau, his nephew, Earl Reagan Jr, and his niece, Toniana Becknell.
His services will be Saturday August 15, 2015 at 11AM inside Biglow's All Faiths Chapel in Tulsa.
Friends may visit Mr. Neal as he slumbers in The All Faiths Chapel from 12Noon until 7PM in Tulsa.
