Mr. Leon Martin Nevitt, Jr., after 61 years, made his transition on Friday, October 28, 2005 from Muskogee. Leon was born in Merkel, Texas on June 30, 1944, the son of Leon M.and Mary Jodie [Bicknell] Nevitt, Sr. He attended school in Texas before moving to Oklahoma in 1964. Mr. Nevitt was of the Catholic Faith and worked for Corning Glass before his retirement. He enjoyed racing cars and fishing. He leaves to lament his passing; his devoted mother, Mary Jo Nevitt; his children, Robert, Misty Jo, Holly and Laurie; his brother, Ronnie Nevitt; along with other relatives and friends.

Mr. Nevitt was cremated and services were private.
