Mr. Leonard Gaulden "Arrived Safely at Rest" on Sunday Morning December 20, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On August 20, 1941, a son was born to the union of Alfred Sr. and Lillie Mae Gaulden in Taft, Oklahoma. Leonard was the 2nd of five children and was affectionately known as "Lump". He attended and graduated from Moton High School in 1963.

After graduation he moved to San Jose California to work with his Aunt Rosie in her Auto Detail business. He became very skillful in auto detailing and worked in several cities in California where he met and married Yvette Rainey in November 1969, to this union one son was born and they named him Channing...
Later he returned to Oklahoma continuing to work in auto detailing until joining American Airlines,from where he retired.

Leonard accepted Christ into his life while in California. After returning to Oklahoma, he later joined New Life Minsitries of Taft where he served faithfully under the leadership of his brother.
He married Evans Smith.

His parents and one brother (Alfred Jr.) preceded him in death.

Leonard leaves to cherish his precious memories the love of his life, his son Channing (JaRonda) and six grandchildren; two brothers Michael (Denise), Robert (Angela), one sister Joyce (Cameron), one Sister-n-Law Marguerite of California; Nieces and Nephews whom he loved dearly; a host of cousins; 2 special friends, Willella Powell and Alphonso Pierce along with a caravan of other friends and acquaintances.

The Hour of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in New Life Ministries, Taft, Oklahoma. Pastor Anthony Wooden will officiate, and Pastor Michael Gaulden, Sr., will give the Eulogy.

Burial will follow in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee. You may visit Mr. Gaulden, as he slumbers in peaceful repose on Thursday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home in Muskogee.
