IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lillie Chaplin
Butler
August 13, 1960 – July 26, 2017
Lillie Mae was born August 13, 1960, to William and Wilma Jean Chaplin in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was the second youngest of twelve children. Lillie received her education in Muskogee Dunbar Elementary, Saddler Junior High and graduated from Muskogee High School in 1978 and later attended Connors State College.
She met and married Hermon McNac II. To this union two children were born, Hermon McNac III and William McNac. She later married John Butler. No children were born to this union.
Although she worked at many places during her lifetime, she loved working as a professional provider at Country Style Home Health. Her clients also loved her very much.
Lillie attended church with her parents at Coal Creek Baptist Church in Haskell, Oklahoma. She later became a faithful member of My Father's House of Worship in Muskogee, Oklahoma under the leadership of Pastors Charlie and Wanda Branham. She loved her pastors and church family very much. She served in the church as a prayer warrior and sang on the praise and worship team.
Lillie had the opportunity to travel in the last year thanks to her son Herman. She was always calling some of her siblings and giving a report on how she was enjoying her vacations. She was an excellent cook, but she loved eating other people's food, especially her siblings. Her hobbies were making candy, cakes, cookies and various types of bread. She loved spending time with her family and friends. As much as Lillie loved her family and friends and enjoying serving the Lord, God saw it best to call her home on July 26, 2017, during the early morning hours. Her presence will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts. Her spirit will be with those of us that were blessed to know her.
She was preceded in death by William Chaplin Sr (Father), Wilma Jean Chaplin (Mother), Elmer Leon Chaplin (Brother), Perry Chaplin (Brother) and Lavern Chaplin (Brother), and Earnestine Chaplin (Sister).
