Ms. Linda Goff, in her 55th season, surrendered her soul to Jesus on Sunday morning, August 30, 2009 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Linda Darnell Goff (known by many as "MOTHER") was born October 6, 1953 the oldest child of Walter Brooks Sr. and Katherine Brooks Harris in Checotah Oklahoma. Linda was a faithful member of Faith Deliverance Christian Center. She loved to serve in ministry. She was a Mother to several generations of children for many years. She was also known for her amazing cooking. It was her passion. Linda won several 1st place awards in many Soul Food competitons. She will be greatly missed by many.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Michael Ray Goff, two daughters TaMecca Dixon (Nathan) and Candace Lawrence Okmulgee, Oklahoma and one son Brandon Todd Muskogee, Oklahoma, three grandchildren Cynphani Morris, Keaton Dansby and Victoria Davis, four sisters LaDonna Manning (David) Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Juanita Taylor Wichita, Kansas, Vanessa Brooks, California, Sheila Brooks Kansas City, Missouri, two Brothers Brian and Carlos Brooks Kansas City, Missouri, Honorary mother Aunt Rea, Grandmother Daisy Gresham Hoffman, Oklahoma. Along with a host of relatives and friends.

Her Final Hour will be on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in the most Sacred Sanctuary of the Eastside Missionary Baptist Church, 3rd Street and Osage Avenue. Reverend Eddie Davis, Sr., Pastor, will officiate and Apostle Lathon Archie, Pastor of Faith Deliverance Christian Center, Eulogist.
