Obituary
Ms. Linda Diane Lester, in her 61st year, left earth for heaven on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from Muskogee.
Linda was born in Wuiet Dell, West Virginia on August 1, 1947, the daughter of Boyd Ray and Mildred Louise Kight. She grew up there and attended Roosevelt Wilson High School.
She spent time in West Virginia and in St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Oklahoma. She worked for York Manor Nursing Home as a Nurse Aid and later, McDonalds Restaurant as a Cook before her retirement.
She like to fish and travel, especially traveling in the Truck with her spouse, Clifford.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and a son, chad Stevens.
She leaves in God's care; her loving husband, Clifford Stevens, of the home in Muskogee; her sons, Rich and wife Patty Gaines of North Ridgeville, and Clifford Stevens, Jr.; her daughters, Bea and husband Robert McDaniel, Folsom, West Virginia and Skyla Stevens and Stacy Stevens, both of Oklahoma City; her sisters, Pat Stout, Orlando, West Virginia; half-sister, Katherine Muscara, North Carolina; her half-brother, Perry Kight, Bernard Cox and Chck Kight; her grandsons, Robert Page, Jeremy Gaines and Justin Gaines; other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Sacred Farewell will be on Monday, December 8, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in the Abiding Life Fellowship, 1407 Calahan. The Pastor, Dr. Rev. Denver Callahan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee.
You may visit Ms. Lester, as she slumbers at the funeral home on Saturday and Sunday from 4 PM to 7 PM.
