On June 23, 1960, in Haskell, Oklahoma, a beautiful, bouncing - baby girl was born to Albert and Arlene Traylor. They named her Lonner Suree and she was the third child in the family.
She received her education in Haskell and later moved to Muskogee and furthered her education. While striving to raise her child, she acquired many jobs, working as a cook at Park Boulevard Nursing Home. It was there, she met the love of her life, Glenn Jones. She also worked as a waitress at the famous Slick's Barbeque.
She worked several other jobs while attended classes at Vo-Tech for Home Health Care. She received many certificates that she was very proud of, working for many organizations as well as taking care of many residents.
"Suree", her middle name that she preferred everyone to call her, was a kind hearted and straight forward person. She was very talented, with many skills. She loved to decorate her home, care for her plants, cooking cakes and cookies for family and friends and watching new movies on her DVD player. Suree was the family beautician and a very good one, too. She bonded with every baby born into the family, as well as outside children.
She accepted Christ into her life at an early age at Bothley AME Church in Haskell, Oklahoma. Later, after moving to Muskogee, she joined Dean's Chapel Baptist Church along with her husband.
On October 4, 2008, just before daybreak, Our Heavenly Father opened the Pearly Gates and welcomed his child into her Heavenly Home. She was preceded in death by her baby boy, Jonathon, great-niece, Jaleesa Russell, her foster mother, Mackey Lee Green, her grandparents, mother-in-law, Lois Louise Gardenhire, her foster sister, Yvonne Green, who she cared for until Yvonne's death, her brothers-in-law, Amos Jones, Jr., Frank Gardenhire, III and her sister-in-law, Linda Faye Jones.
She leaves to lament her passing and to cherish her memory; her devoted husband of 23 years, Glenn O. Jones, Sr., of the home in Muskogee; a son, Aundrea Traylor, Lawton, Oklahoma; a niece that she raised as her own, Loretta Russell, Tulsa, Oklahoma; a great-nephew, Jermon Asberry, whom she also raised as her own, Tulsa, Oklahoma; her mother and step-father, Arlene and Charles Wright, Muskogee, Oklahoma; her granddaughter, Shalya Traylor, Muskogee, Oklahoma; 3 step-children, Glenn Jones, II, Glenetta and Cherika, Kansas City, Kansas; 3 sisters, Connie, Belma and Nino; her father-in-law, Frank Gardenhire, Jr., Muskogee, Oklahoma; special sisters-in-law, Rhonda Jean Jones, Cheryl Chatman and Sherry Chatman, all of Muskogee; brothers-in-law, Everett P.
