There is an open gate at the end of the road, there is a light we cannon see;
our Father claims His own, beyond the gate, your loved one finds happiness and rest;
There is comfort in thought, there is a loving God who knows best !
On April 22, 1936, God blessed a beautiful angel to Louella Thompson and Joe Bishop. The third of five children in the family was named Loyce Jean.
At an early age, she confessed her love for Christ and joined New Zion Baptist Church. She later met and married Alfred E. Reed, Sr., and from this union, a son was born. She later united with Thurmon H. McIntosh and from this union, a daughter was born.
Sister Reed attended Harvest Time Outreach Ministries until sickness fell upon her and her health began to fail. She closed her eyes for the last time on Earth, but woke up in Paradise on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in Muskogee. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters and brothers.
She leaves to lament her death; her son, Alfred E. Reed, Sr. [ Vickie ]; her daughter, Tosha R. Warren [Samuel ]; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and a caravan of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
