On January 23, 1924 a bouncing baby girl was born in Rio, Mississippi to Melvin and Cornelia Anderson Morrison.  They named their bundle of joy Lucy.  Lucy was the 2 ^nd of 10 children born to the union.

In 1942, Lucy married Mr. Levi Lewis.  To this union, four children were born.  Lucy was loved by many friends and family.  Many called her "Miss Lucy."  She would dedicate her life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 6, 2002.  Her interest was sparked by a 7 year old child "that was able to find scriptures in the Bible.  It is a shame he can find them, and I cannot" she said.

On November 13, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lucy Lewis peacefully passed away.  She was preceded in death by her husband Levi.  She is survived by her four children whom she truly cared for deeply: Helen (Henry) Allen, Hilda Walk (Leon), Levi Lewis (Marsha), and Ronnie Lewis (Jeanine), ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives.

Visitation in Tulsa will be Wednesday November 21, 2016 from 12Noon until 7PM in Tulsa.

Visitation at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home located at 2615 E. State Boulevard in Meridian, Mississippi on Friday November 23, 2016 at 3PM.  The phone number to the funeral home is 601-482-0572 for friends that would like to arrange for floral arrangements to be delivered.  A Memorial Service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel at 4PM on Friday.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday November 24, 2016 at 11AM Battlefield Cemetery in Meridian, Mississippi.
