Obituary

Mrs. Lula M. Littlejohn, in her 78th season, took wings and flew to Heaven on Monday evening, February 6, 2006 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Lula was born in Coweta, Oklahoma on February 17, 1927, the daughter of James Richardson, Sr., and Josie Foster.

Mrs. Littlejohn was a cook, having worked as Head Cook for the Southern Mansion and the Carriage Inn, as well as Bishops Restaurant and Ann's Restaurant.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and a lifelong resident of Okmulgee.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her children, Clennon R. Dade [Doris], Chesepeake, VA, Carl Littlejohn, Tulsa, OK, Carolyn Moore [Farris], Okmulgee, OK, Calvin Littlejohn [Sharon], Okmulgee, OK, Linda Reed [Hassan], Tulsa, OK, Teresa Boyd [Joe], Tulsa, OK, Denice Moore [Tony], Sand Springs, OK, Sheila Mast, Tulsa, OK, Howard Littlejohn [Melva], Sand Springs, OK, JoAnn Dean, Tulsa, OK and Kenneth Littlejohn [Lenora], Hanford, CA; her sister, Bertha Richardson and Alice Young, Okmulgee, OK; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a caravan of other relatives and friends.

The tribute will be on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 2:30 P.M. at the Church of Christ, 318 S. Grand in Okmulgee. Brother Clarence Hall, Minister of Eastside Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Okmulgee.

Visitation will be on Friday from 12 Noon until 6 PM at the funeral home in Okmulgee.
