Mayola Trout was born on March 17th, 1955 in Santa Monica California to Walter Trout and Lullu Drew, both of Haskell, Oklahoma.
She Mayola grew up in San Francisco CA where she graduated from Balboa High School. After high school she attended secretarial school. In addition, s he attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Mayola was a classical pianist and violinist.
After her father passed away in 2002, Mayola moved to Kansas City where she lived with her mother until she passed away in 2005. Mayola was a member of Bonner Springs AME church. She later became a member of Trinity Methodist Church is Kansas City. Mayola worked for Ability KC in Kansas City MO for 18 years until COVID shut down the workplace in 2000.
Although Mayola suffered from multiple health concerns including diabetes, she preservered. She had a ready smile and cooperative spirit. O n Sunday, September 19th , 2021, Mayola met her parents,Walter and Lullu Trout, at Heavens Gate.
Mayola leaves her sister, S heron Smith, and brother in law Don Smith who reside in Kansas City. Mayola leaves two nephews, Don Smith of Bonner Springs, Kansas, Marlo n Smith of Phoenix, Arizona, great niece Kylie Smith of Bonner Springs, KS , and a host of cousins.
The Sacred Farewell for Lullu will be shared on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the People's Chapel of the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Muskogee. Reverend Larry Pouncil, Pastor of Eastside First Baptist Church of Haskell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Haskell Cemetery.
