IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lywanna Marie
Roberson-Deffebaugh
January 31, 1981 – July 16, 2022
A bright, beautiful baby girl named LyWanna Marie Roberson, known as "Wanna Bug," was born on January 31, 1981, to Deborah K. Lee and the late Johnny G. Roberson, Sr. LyWanna was born and raised in Muskogee, OK. At a early age in life, LyWanna met the love of her life Darron Deffebaugh, Sr., whom she married and gave birth to their 6 beautiful babies—four girls and two boys.
Most of her adult life, she was a homemaker, which she took charge of cooking, cleaning, dancing, and taking care of their children. She enjoyed being a housewife. Later on in life, as their children began having children of their own, she was readily available to help take good care of them as well. She absolutely loved kids and loved talking to them in her "baby talk voices." Through the good, the bad, the pretty, and the ugly, LyWanna loved her family. She was funny and outgoing at times. When hanging out and celebrating with family, she would dance, and all of sudden, she would look at you and say, "How you doing?" or "It's going to be a situation." Those were just a couple of her favorite sayings. Wanna Bug sent her family daily text messages letting them know just how much she loved them. She also loved her dogs. They say dogs are a man's best friend, but if you knew her, you knew her dogs were her best friends.
LyWanna Deffebaugh, at the age of 41, "took flight with Angels to thine place of rest" on Saturday morning, July 16, 2022, from her home in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in Glory by her dad, Johnny G. Roberson, Sr.; sister, Bernadette Lee Roberson; grandparents, Robert Roberson, Sr., Verna Mae Lee, and Willie McJunckins; mother- in-law, Julia M. Deffebaugh; her aunt Marie, who was more like another mother to her; and a host of other close relatives.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Darron R. Deffebaugh, Sr.; mother, Deborah K. Lee; grandmother, Lola Marie (Barnes) Roberson; children, Darron Deffebaugh, Jr., Monica Deffebaugh, Alexis Deffebaugh, Jurae Deffebaugh, Julia Deffebaugh, and Darrious Deffebaugh; siblings, Marland Lee, Johnny G. Roberson, Jr., and Claudette Lee Roberson; eleven precious grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces,
