Ms. Mable T. Bazart, a resident of Okmulgee, Oklahoma dozed into Eternal Rest on Friday April 18, 2014 in Tulsa.

Ms. Bazart was born in Okmulgee on January 14, 1930, the daughter of Clifton and Ezza Ann [House] Bazart.  She received her education at Uganda Martyr's Catholic School, Lincoln University, Lincoln, Missouri, St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missori, Chicago State University and DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.

Ms. Bazart was a longtime member of Uganda Martyr's Catholic Church, serving in various capacities with the Church.

She worked for many years as a Teacher in Chicago, Illinois at Issinois State Pediatrics Institute.  She also became a Registered Nurse, where she worked for the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Polo Alto, California and in Chicago.  She also worked at Kaiser Foundation Hospital and Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, both in San Jose, California.

Later in life, she returned to Okmulgee to be near her family.

She leaves in God's care:  her devoted nephew, David Bazart, Glendale, California;  and a sister-in-law, Winnie Bazart, Lompoc, California; along with other relatives and friends.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the Uganda Martry's Catholic Church.  Father Joshua E. Litwack     , Celebrant.  Burial will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery.  Rosary will be recited on Friday at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at the Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 12 Noon on Friday.
