Mrs. Mamie M. Gouthier, after 78 seasons of life, "dozed into the peaceful rest of eternal slumber" on Saturday evening, November 16, 2013 from her home in Okmulgee.

On December 31, 1934 a beautiful baby girl was born to George and Dinah McMillian, in Alberta, Alabama. She was the youngest out of five children.

Mamie met Charles Gouthier in 1965 and was married. Their union was blessed with two children, Yolanda T. Gouthier-Smith and Derrick Gouthier. Mamie was a very caring, loving and special person. She touched everyone's life that she came in contact with.

Mamie leaves her husband of 50 years, Charles Gouthier, brother George McMillain (Myrna), Half-Sister Ethel Bond, daughter Yolanda T. (Gouthier) Smith, son-in-law Roy Smith, son Derrick Gouthier, daughter-in-law Morgan (McFarlane) Gouthier, granddaughters Jasmine R. Smith, Janelle R. Smith, Zaria D. Gouthier, and Tiana T. Gouthier, And a host of Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and Friends.

The Funeral Mass for Mrs. Gouthier will be celebrated on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 9:00 AM in the Uganda Martyr's Catholic Church. Father Josh Litwack is the Pastor and Father Benjamin Vima, the Celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Rosary will be on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at the Funeral home.
