Marcus Eugene Moore was born on August 9, 1963 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Sidney Moore, Sr., and Lucille Hawkins-Moore. Marcus was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Tullahassee, Oklahoma. He was raised in Church and at a young age, gave his life to Christ, where he began praying for and leading his family and friends to salvation.

Marcus graduated from Carter G. Woodson School in Tullahassee, Oklahoma with the Class of 1980 and then enlisted in the United States Army, rendering honorable service to his country. He was a carpenter by trade and loved fishing and dancing. Marcus was the life of the party and was always smiling.

In September of 2002, he married Pamela Russell and gained a son, Tyler Russell. From that union, his pride and joy, Keyanna Moore was born. The marriage ended and a few years later, he met his life-long partner and friend, Deedra Fullbright and remained with her until his death.

On September 6, 2015, the Lord called Marcus home. Family members preceding him on this journey; his mother, Lucille Moore and three brothers, Steve, Frank and Eddie Moore.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his father, Sidney Moore, Sr., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two children, Tyler Russell and Keyanna Moore, both of Wagoner, Oklahoma; a sister, Regina [Herbert Jr.] Moore, Tullahassee, Oklahoma; two brothers, Sidney [Davetta] Moore, Jr., Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Mikeus Moore, Sr. [Gloria], Chicago, Illinois; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends.

The Final Salute to Mr. Moore will commence on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, Tullahassee, Oklahoma. The Pastor, Reverend Henry McVay, Jr., will officiate. Burial with Military Honors will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the National Cemetery at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
