Ms. Margaret Gallimore, in her 52nd year, "took flight with Angels to thine place of rest," from Oklahoma City on Monday.
It all began in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on July 13, 1958, when Willard and Mable Gallimore celebrated the birth of their second child, a daughter who was named Margaret Louise.
Margaret grew up in Okmulgee, where she attended public school. She graduated from Okmulgee High School with the Bi-centennial class of 1976. She furthered her education, attending Central State University [ now the University of Central Oklahoma ] in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Margaret joined First Baptist Church in Okmulgee at the age of eleven and participaed in the Starlight Band.
She was a loving and caring person and enjoyed writing and journeling, but her greatest joys were the times spent with her children and grandchildren.
Margaret leaves behind to lament her death; her loivng mother, Mable Gallimore, Okmulgee, Oklahoma; her children, Jasmin Dulan, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ryan Gallimore, Oklahoma City, Kevin Wilson, Oklahoma City, Teresa McNeal, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Stephanie McNeal, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Austin Gallimore, Oklahoma City and Mya Watkins, Okmulgee, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Areiana Cardwell, Jaquis Vann, Denton Gallimore, Kentrell Dulan and Joshua Vann; her siblings, Andrea and Frank Luster, Oklahoma City, Patricia and Richard Brown, Norman, Oklahoma, Beverly and David Jackson, Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and Billy and LaShawn Gallimore, Mesquite, Texas; along with other relatives, friends and classmates who will forever cherish her dear spirit.
The hour of remembrance for Margaret will be on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church-Central. The Pastor, Reverend P. W. Jackson, Sr., will officiate. The Christian Committal will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Okmulgee.
