Mrs. Marilyn M. Cosby, after 52 years, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Marilyn Solania Morallas was born on November 22, 1966 in San Roque, Asturias, Cebu, Philippines to Narciso and Adoracion Morallas. She was the fourth of thirteen children in the family.
Marilyn and John Cosby were married on October 23, 1990 at Clark Air Force Base, Philippines. They loved and cherished their son, Marvin Ivan Cosby, and three step-children, Suzelle, Toni and Shawn.
Marilyn was a member of Boulevard Christian Church and was an excellent cook, who could turn the kitchen out with her favorite dishes, Lumpia, Pancit and several american dishes. She was a loving wife and mother and will be missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Adoracion Solania Morallas and two brothers, Ferdinan and Emmanuel Morallas.
Marilyn leaves to lament her passing; her husband, John Cosby; her son, Marvin Cosby; step-children, Suzelle, Toni and Shawn; her brothers, Narciso Junior, Deomedes and Thomas Morallas; her sisters, Asterias Kelley, Zinaida Bastasa, Lydia Neidlinger, Virginia Bynum, Lelibeth Heim, Adoracion Augusto and Grace Morallas; along with other relatives and friends.
The sacred farewell to Marilyn will commence on Friday, February 8,k 2019 at 12 Noon in the most holy sanctuary of Boulevard Christian Church. Pastor James McCracken will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
You may visit Mrs. Cosby, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM in Muskogee.
