Obituary

On April 19, 1971, Mario Andre was born to Edward Jackson and Willia Jackson. After studying under his grandfather, Mario professed his belief and trust in Jesus Christ.

Mario attended Tulsa public schools, where he learned to play the trumpet and developed his love of music. While attending McLain high school, he played a season of football. Though he excelled, Mario decided it wasn't for him. He left school early and joined the workforce. He returned to school and received his GED from Nathan Hale.

Mario was a huge football fan. His favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. When attending live pro games, Mario would proudly wear his Steelers gear regardless of what section he sat.

After working for several local companies, Mario joined his father, who he lovingly called "Pops" in the family business where he worked until May of 2019 when his father retired.

In his departure, Mario leaves to celebrate his life, a large and loving family. It consists of his dad Edward Jackson & stepmom Jackie, his mother Willia Ledford & stepdad Keith, brothers Marcoe Jackson (Mary Ann), Garrick Jackson (Marnie), sisters Danielle Ledford and Cathryn Gibbs, Tysha Watson, Marquita Owens (Fred) and Kalesha Gorden. Also, his children whom he loved.  Daughters, Ashley "Abby" Gant, Ebony Epps, Kache`Jackson, K'Mari Jackson. Sons De'Antae Glover, DeMarco Glover, Michael White, and Jerome Beasley, his daughter Kiara Beasley preceded him in death. He leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a host of friends who, along with us, will miss his laughter.

Rest in Peace, my sweet Prince, your Father God in heaven, has a place just for you.
