Obituary
Mr. Mark R. Lewis, in his 49th year, transitioned from Earth to Everlasting on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mark Runnel Lewis was born January 11, 1969 to Johnnie Lewis, Sr. and Gloria Lewis in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At a young age, Mark moved with his family to Tulsa, Oklahoma and later graduated from McClain High School. He continued to reside in the Tulsa area for the remainder of his life.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Lewis Sr. and nephew, Jeremy Lewis along with his maternal grandparents Sam and Maggie Andrews and paternal grandparents Lon and Pinky Lewis.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Marquala Jones; two sons, De Juan Lewis and Brandon Morgan; nine grandchildren from De Juan (Sea'Arah, Lyric, De Juan Jr., Nabriah, Ede Jhia, Braylynn, Shandria, Kyree and Kalab) and four grandchildren from Brandon (Brandon Jr., Bralen, Journee and Brayshon). He also leaves to celebrate in his homegoing his devoted and loving mother Gloria Lewis of Idabel, OK; four brothers, Johnnie Lewis Jr. (wife, Taulease) of Tulsa and their two daughters (Kenyetta Smith and Alexandria Lewis); Kim Lewis (wife, Tonji) of Grand Prairie, TX and their six children (Dayan Williams, Anthony Smith, John Lewis, Devin Lewis, Jordan Asberry, and Jada Lewis); Roderick Lewis (wife, Linda) of Oklahoma City and their three children (Elisha, Kierra, and Malachi Lewis); Michael Coburn of Oklahoma City (wife, Beth) and his four children (Shekia, Michaela, Michael Jr., and Marshane Coburn); three sisters, Beatrice Dukes of Oklahoma City (husband, Randell Jr.) and their two children (Ramone and Kanisha Coburn); Stacy Coburn of Oklahoma City and her four children (Milton, Marquis, Mariesha, and Malese Pete) and Tracy Coburn Oliver of Palestine, TX (husband, John) and their three sons (Orlando Wynn, Damarea Wynn, and Quntrell Coburn); along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The Hour of Remembrance for Mark will be on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the All Faiths Chapel of Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., in Tulsa.
Burial will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
You may visit Mr. Lewis, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the funeral home on Friday from 1 PM until 7 PM.
