On January 27, 1998, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a beautiful bouncing baby boy was born to Martinez and Diana Doxey Owens. They named their beautiful, loving creation, Martinez Milo Owens, JR.

Martinez lived in Tulsa with his parents where he attended Alcott Elementary School and was entering the first grade. Martinez had a passion for swimming, fishing, reading books, playing video games and participating in sports. In addition, Martinez had a talent for artwork. Martinez was very loving and caring with a big, beautiful contagious smile. He loved caring for his younger sister Alyric, and spending time with his older brother Ronshe.

On Friday, August 5, 2005, with his his loving family by his side, Martinez Jr. was lead home to Paradise by his Lord and Savious to walk around heaven with all of the little angels. He leaves to cherish his precious memory; his partents Martinez Sr. and Diana Doxey Owens, one brother Ronshe Owens and sister Alyric Owens, all of Tulsa, OK. Two grandmothers, Alice Owens and Ruby Doxey of Muskogee, OK, two grandfathers, Benny Dension, Tulsa, OK and William Doxey, Kansas City, MO. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Services are Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 2:30 PM at Rayfield Baptist Church in Muskogee, OK
Visitation is Friday, August 12, 2005 from 10 A.M.to7 P.M. at Funeral Home
