Marvin Fox, II was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 14, 1973, the son of Marvin Fox, Sr., and Ivalene [Melton].
Marvin received his education in the Okmulgee Public School system, where he graduated with the Class of 1991.
Marvin was a quiet, unassuming man and a friend to all those who knew him. He never complained about life's challenges and will be missed by all who loved him.
Marvin Fox, II, in his 46th year, "finished his course on Earth" on Saturday, May 30, 2020 from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Fox, Sr., and his grandparents, John and Ivaline Melton, his grandmother, Minnie Chapman and his grandfather, Ary Fox.
He leaves to lament his passing; his devoted mother, Ivalene Melton Tottress; his children, Montel Davaughn Fox, Marlo Tevon Fox, Maxton Fox and Merrick Fox; three grandchildren, Namiyah Fox, Neveah Fox and Major Fox; five brothers and seven sisters, Mitchell Melton, Stephen Fox [Felisha], Sonya Moses, Angel Alexander, Johnathan Tottress, Lisa Tottress, Stacie Tottress, Marion Fox Poellnitz, Marvin Fox, Jr., Dwight Fox, Chyonne Fox and Gigi Fox; along with a caravan of Aunts, Uncles, other relatives and friends.
The final hour with Mr. Fox, will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1500 North Miami Avenue in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Dr. Douglas M. Currington, Senior Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery.
Although this will be a public, traditional ceremony, there will be social distancing guidelines, regarding seating at the Church, and we kindly ask that you follow the instructions of the funeral directors, as the family has requested.
You may visit Mr. Fox, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the funeral home in Okmulgee on Thursday, from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM and on Friday, from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
