Melissa Donielle Bledsoe
September 3, 1989 - April 13, 2009

Our Angel
Melissa Donielle was delivered to Melissa Alexander and Donald Lee Bledsoe on September 3, 1989 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received her education from the Tulsa Public School System. Melissa was considered and exemplary student among the teachers at Tulsa Community College, where she had plans of transferring to Langston University in the fall of 2009. Through her years, Melissa was a member of the basketball team at Cleveland Middle School, and also the track team, and softball team at Central High School, was well as the Owen Park Dance Team. At a young age, Melissa was introduced to Christ where she joined the "Church for all Peoples," under the leadership of Pastor Carey. She loved the word of God, continuing her attendance at the Greater Grace Church. Melissa always kept a smile on her face, lifting spirits of everyone who surpassed her. She was truly an angel in disguise. Melissa departed this life on April 13, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her son Demetrius Monte Brown, Jr., her grandfather Cecil Alexander, grandmother Vera Bledsoe, Uncles Larry Asberry, Darnell Bledsoe, and Theodist Bledsoe, and cousins Jerome Johnson, and Rashaad Barnes. Her legacy of Love includes her mother, Melissa and Cleo Lyles, father Donald Lee Bledsoe, grandfather Ernest Bledsoe, grandmother Bertha Alexander, sisters: Dontoya Bledsoe (Demario) RaShona Bledsoe, SharDell Bledsoe-Davis (Damien) and Renesha Davis; brothers: Cleo Davis, Brandon Powell, and Unique Turner, nephews: Jerome Bledsoe, Demario Morrison, Jr., and Brandon Hampton, Jr., niece Khenedi Morrison, special friends: Demetrius Brown, Deandre George, and the Day1 Crew, and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Services will be Monday April 20, 2009 at 12Noon inside the All Faiths Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday from 2PM-5PM.
