After 46 years, Michael Andre' Griffin "finished early" on June 30, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Michael was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on November 16, 1961, the son of Robert Lee and Erma Jean Griffin. He was the 6th of 7 children.
He attended school in Tulsa at Raymond S. McClain High School and was a faithful employee of the Tulsa Public Schools.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Anthony.
He leaves beautiful memories with; his wife of 30 years, Deborah, of the home in Tulsa; 5 sons, Michael [Tenitha] Jr., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jerimiah, Mario, DeAngelo and Robert, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 2 daughters, LaKisha and Kejuana, both of Tulsa; 5 sisters, Brenda Barnes and Cynthia Powell, Dallas, Texas; Sharon Griffin-Garrett, Charlotte Griffin-Becknell and LaKisha Barber, all of Tulsa; 2 brothers, Robert Griffin, Fort Worth, Texas and Jimmy Griffin, Tulsa, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren, Sayonna, Sir and Dionna; along with a caravan of other relatives and friends.
The farewell tribute will be on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 11:30 AM in the All Faiths Chapel of the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., in Tulsa.
You may visit Mr. Griffin, as he slumbers at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 PM to 7 PM.
