Mr. Michael R. "Dudda Man" Demery, age 36 and a resident of Beggs, Oklahoma, transitioned from life to everlasting on Saturday, July 5, 2009 after a motorcycle accident.

On September 7, 1972 a baby boy was born to Debra Gaines and Reginald Demery. They named him Michael RoShone.

Michael Shone, or (better know to some as "Dudda Man"), was raised in Beggs, Oklahoma. He graduated from Beggs High School in 1991 and from there he attended Haskell University in Lawrence, Kansas on a scholarship until he was injured during a sports event. Shone enjoyed playing football and basketball and was very athletic. In June of 2000, Shone married Dana Christy.

Shone worked with his uncle Amos "Cheeta" Gaines, and did other jobs.

He was preceeded in death by his maternal and fraternal grandparents.

Those who remain to treasure the time spent with Michael Shone: his wife Dana (Christy) Demery, Tulsa, Ok; his son, Dasmine Kingery, Tulsa, OK; his mother, Debra (Louis) Gist, Beggs, Ok; his father, Reginald Demery, Beggs, Ok; his brother, Roderick "Peanut" Cole; his sisters, LeAndra Demery, Beggs, Ok, Myia Cole, Tulsa, Ok, Nekia Smith, Tulsa, Ok, Victoria Gist, Beggs, Ok, a special friend, Kortney Haley, Coweta, Ok, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The farewell will be on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Beggs. Burial will follow in Beggs City Cemetery.
