Reflection of Life
On August 2, 1959, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma Michelle Denise Johnson Wyatt-Starr a beautiful, smiling baby girl was born to Ruth M. Johnson and George Eaves Jr. She attended Okmulgee Public Schools and graduated from the Okmulgee High School Class of 1977. After graduating she relocated to California to be with her father, stepmother, sisters Nicole, Ila, and Bridget. While in California Michelle attended Clara Sage Cosmetology School where she obtained her license and served for over thirty years.
Michelle met Louis Wyatt Sr. while in California and later became husband and wife. To this union they adopted two children Cassandra and Louis Jr. in 1982. In the year 1986 Michelle gave birth to her daughter Dana. Michelle and Louis were married for twenty-five wonderful years until his illness and passing in 2004.
Michelle and Dana relocated to Okmulgee, Oklahoma there they were welcomed with open arms from family, friends, and the Eastside Baptist Church family where her great-grandparents help build and establish.
In 2007, she met and married Reverend Tommy Starr. Michelle loved Okmulgee but thought she should support her husband, so the family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. The family loved to travel all around the world together. They became church members at Christ Temple CME Church where she really enjoyed the fellowship and worship.
Michelle had an excellent personality and never met a stranger. She was very outgoing and had great communication skills. Michelle stayed faithful and continued to attend services at the church until her health started to fail. On August 19, 2015 from Tulsa, Oklahoma God called her name and told her it was time to come home. She did the best she could while her on earth. Michelle broke the earthly family chain and connected with her new heavenly family experiencing peace, joy, happiness, and no more pain or sorrow.
She leaves to cherish her memories: husband Reverend Tommy Starr and Dana Wyatt of Tulsa, OK. Louis Wyatt Jr. and Cassandra Street of Michigan.
