Obituary

On July 15, 2006, Minnie Mae McClure made her final exit from the stage of life in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On April 14, 1912 in Bristow, Oklahoma, Minnie changed the life of Horace and Julia Clements forever with her birth.

She had many career paths throughout her life. She worked diligently as a farmer's wife with various tasks such as drive the tractor, feed the many animals and tend to the plethora of vegetation. She was later a dedicated employee for her friend, Dr. Sneed. She was a chef of many delicious meals in Boynton, Oklahoma. Lastly, she was a domestic engineer in Tulsa and Boynton, Oklahoma until her retirement.

She was married to the love of her life, the late Bennie McClure, for nearly fifty years.

She leaves in the great embrace of our Father, her brother, Paul Clements of Boynton, OK; her daughter Sharon Thierry of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her son-in-law, Johnny Thierry of Tulsa, OK; her grandchildren, Shirley Hayden, Johnny Thierry II and Bennie Shenelle Thierry of Tulsa, OK; great grandchildren, LaTasha Hayden (Jefferson City, MO), John Hayden, Samantha Gamble and Johnny Thierry III of Tulsa, OK; a great great grandchild Kayli Hayden of Jefferson City, MO, special friends, Colleen and James Mayo Brooks of Tulsa, OK; Mrs. Wood of Boynton, OK and Dr. Sneed of Checotah, OK and a host of other friends and relatives.

The tribute will be on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Peace at the funeral home in Okmulgee. Reverend Leonard Lang will officiate. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery at Boynton, Oklahoma.
