IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Morgan Anton
Peterson
October 3, 1993 – December 23, 2025
Morgan Anton Peterson, was born October 3rd 1993, Lovingly known to us as “Mo-Mo.”
"On December 23rd 2025, the world lost a beautiful soul, and we carry his light in our hearts.
Morgan was more than a son, nephew, brother—he was a piece of our hearts and a phenomenal father.
Morgan obtained his forklift license, and worked very hard for his family before becoming ill. He had apassion for basketball and was amazing at the sport. You could catch him and his cousin JD, at O’Brien Park gym shooting hoops often.
Mo-Mo” had a way of being remembered not just for who he was, but for how he made people feel. He loved all his children deeply. His smile was contagious. His goofiness filled our hearts and souls with laughter. His presence mattered. His life mattered. And his absence is deeply felt.
Those who knew Morgan knew his spirit, and the bond he shared with his family. He was loved fiercely, and that love will never fade. Though words cannot fully express the pain of losing him, we hold tightly to the memories we shared and the love that will continue to live on.
He leaves to cherish his memories, His mother Anjanette Willis (Keith Ross) and Father Michael Peterson. His children, Kassidy, Morgan, Messiah, Ajani, Naijer, Zakari. Sisters Keona Ross (Caleb), Zetelia Willis (Za’yari) Shamari Willis (Kamyra and Kallie) Doniesha Brown, Nicole Hailey. Grandmother Ella Bible-Willis. Aunts, Charelle Jones (Tera, Kam’Ryn, Zjane,Denzel) Tonya Willis (Dan, Taylor, Danyel). Uncles, Anthony, Buster, Earron. And a host, of cousins, and friends.
In our grief, we lean on our faith and the promise that Morgan is now at peace:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” — Psalm 34:18
While our hearts ache, we trust that Morgan is resting in God’s care, free from pain, and wrapped in eternal love. One day, we will see him again.Morgan “Mo-Mo” Peterson will always be with us—in our thoughts, in our stories, and in our hearts.
