Myrtle L. Fausett was born on June 22, 1929 in far east Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, near the county line road separating Muskogee and Cherokee Counties, from the union of Eslie Henry and Cora Clistia [Matthews] Jordan.
Myrle worked for 39 plus years for Brockway Glass, which is now Owens-Illinois as a Supervisor in the decorating department. She was a dedicated employee and loved to crochet, volunteer at the Douglas Center for Deep Fork Community Senior Center and spend time with her family.
Better known as "Nanny" to her family, Myrtle L. Fausett, after 88 years of life, transitioned from life to everlasting on Tuesday morning, March 20, 2018 from Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David, her son, David Franklin, and her son, Kenneth Roy, and five siblings.
She leaves to lament her death; two daughters-in-law, Janet Fausett, of Muskogee and Laura Fausett, of Fordyce, Arkansas; four grandcildren, Janelle Sinclair and husband Gary, of Muskogee, Michelle Fausett, of Muskogee, Kenneth Alan Fausett and wife Marcie, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Emily Davis and husband Chris, of Maumelle, Arkansas; five great-grandchildren, Cody Sinclair and Chase Sinclair, of Muskogee, Kelton Neals, Stillwater, Tyeson Neals, of Dallas, Texas, and Noah Davis, of Maumelle, Arkansas; her sisters-in-law; along with other relatives and friends.
A Graveside ceremony will be shared on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Holland Cemetery, near U.S. Highway 62 and S458 road, Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Reverend Leroy Walker, Sr., Pastor of Rayfield Baptist Church, will officiate.
