A Time To Born
Nadier LaDell Foster was born May 18, 1925 to the late Earnest and Lillie Mae Thompson Foster in Tullahassee, Oklahoma. "Dale" as he was affectionately called, was the oldest of six children.
A Time To Serve
Dale was baptized at Mt.Zion at an early age under the late Pastor J.B. Brown. He was active in the Okmulgee Male Choir, and with his Senior Choir at Mt. Zion. He was always there when you needed him, and would give you his last.
A Time To Live
Dale was reared and educated in the Okmulgee School System. He met and married Mable M. Mitchell in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Their marriage union spawned six children made up of four boys, and two girls. He enjoyed farming, working with chickens, guineas, hens, and turkeys, pigs, and even cows for a short time. He labored to provide for his children with Frisco Railroad, presently known as Northern Burlington. He retired as a foreman, to relax, and enjoy the simple things in life. He was peaceful to all his children and will be greatly missed.
A Time To Die
On July 12, 2011 the Master called his faithful servant home. We are honored to have known such a wonderful and faithful servant, husband, father, and papa. His memory will live in our hearts.
A Time To Mourn
Dale leaves to cherish his precious memories: his devoted wife of 64 years, Mable "Doll," two sisters: Violetta Nunley (John), Loretta McFalls (Olen), Okmulgee, OK., one brother: Earnest Foster, Jr. (Gladys), Southville, MI., four sons: Herbert Smith (Linda), Phillip Foster (Carolyn), Michael Foster (Doreas), Terry Foster (Marie), all of Okmulgee, OK., two daughters: Linda Foster, Okmulgee, OK., Anna McGriff (Joseph), Sand Springs, OK., 23 grandchildren, including Juan, his closest, 20 great-grandchildren, a special brother in-law, Arvester, a special nephew, Perry Mitchell, and a host of other relatives and loving friends.
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."
