Nancy Sue (Irwin) Rayles 79 passed away July 25, 2022. She was surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born June 7, 1943 in Tulsa, Ok to Robert Cole Irwin Sr., and Evelyn (Harris) Irwin. She enjoyed her koi pond, growing vegetables and flower, bird watching, garage sales and spending time with family. Her and her husband would often drive to Fort Gibson to watch the Eagles hatch. Nancy worked at Brockway glass for 14 years. She also worked at PJs liquor with her sister Pat.
Nancy was a strong willed, hard working woman who raised 5 kids on her own. She sewed their clothes, worked multiple jobs to provide for them and kept them in line the best she could even if it meant taking off a shoe to do so. Nancy was the back bone of her family and the glue that held them together.
She is preceded in death by her father Robert C. Irwin Sr., her mother Evelyn (Harris) Irwin, Brother Robert (Bobby) C. Irwin Jr. and wife Judith Irwin, Warren (Buddy) Irwin, Richard Allen Irwin, sister Patsy (PJ) Flinn, nephew Rowdy Stewart, Niece Christina Irwin.
Mrs. Nancy Rayles, in her 79th season, surrendered her soul to the will of the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2022 with her loving family near her bedside in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
She is survived by husband Danny Wayne Rayles of Muskogee, OK, daughters Deborah Sue Felts of Muskogee, Ok, Susan Stimmel and husband James Stimmel of Muskogee, Ok, Cherie Dovell and husband Markell Dovell of Checotah, Ok, Kerri Byrd and husband Russell Byrd of Brazoria, TX, son Billy Don Beasley of Muskogee, Ok, special daughter Eddie McJunkins of Muskogee, Ok, grandkids Johnny Rayles of Tulsa, Ok, Danny Felts and wife Karly Felts of Okmulgee, Ok, Rachel Felts and Sammy Brave of Hulbert, Ok, Annie Felts and Jordan Kelley of Fort Gibson, OK, Nikki Carlson of Muskogee, Ok, Benton Didway of Muskogee, Ok, Chelsea Clark and husband Seth Clark of Catoosa, Ok, James Stimmel Jr. of Muskogee, Ok, Jerry Stewart and wife Marie Stewart of Enfield, CT, Robert Erieggo of Guthrie, Ok, Shelly Rice of Muskogee, Ok, Michael Rice of Muskogee, Ok, Franklin Coy Byrd of TX, special grandson Jason Eller of Muskogee, Ok, and a whole slew of great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
A Family Conducted Memorial Service for Mrs. Rayles will commence on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 11:00AM at God's Powerhouse at 1616 E. Hancock Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma with Pastor Danny Scott officiating.
All floral arrangements can be delivered to God's Powerhouse at 1616 E. Hancock Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma before 11:00 AM on Friday, August 5, 2022.
A Graveside Ceremony will follow the services in the Green Hill Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
