Mr. Nathan Ashley, a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma traveled to Eternal Rest on Tuesday Evening December 16, 2014 in Tulsa.

Services for Mr. Ashley will be Tuesday December 23, 2014 at 11AM at Praise Center Family Church in Tulsa.

Friends may visit Mr. Ashley on Monday from 12Noon until 7PM in Tulsa.
Nathan Joe Ashley was born April 16, 1937 in Checotah, Oklahoma to Lincoln and Geneva Ashley. Nathan attended Rentiesville High School before joining the U.S. Air Force where he served four years. Nathan fell in love with Freddie Jackson and they married in 1958. They were blessed with five children: Donald, Donna, Joey, Leland, and Moneatia. Nathan's parents, brother Gerald and daughter Moneatia preceded him in death.

Nathan was employed with Telex Corporation nearly 30 years before joining Tulsa Public Schools Transportation until retirement. He was a longtime, dedicated and faithful member of Praise Center Family Church where he has served as usher and bus driver.

Nathan leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Freddie of 56 years, son Don (Vanessa), daughter Donna (David), sons Joey (Belinda) and Leland (DeeDee), brother retired Master Sgt. Chester R. Ashley, sister Renee Palmer, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren Dee Dee, Jeconiah, Brandy (Isaiah), Brittney (Jason), Olajuwon, Shanice, Joy, Ashlie, Leland Jr., great grandchildren Ariauna Nicole, Hannah Lynell, Isaiah David, and Timothy James, family and friends.
