Opal Offord was born on January 15, 1946 to Charlie T. and Ineaz Frazier in Tulsa Oklahoma. She was the seventh of eleven children. She attended Booker T. Washington in Tulsa Oklahoma. After graduation she attended Draugh College where she studied Business. She met and married Marcus Offord and to this union was born Angelia Denise.
She accepted Christ at an early age and she loved the Lord. She was baptized at Greater St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church under the pasturage of Rev. B. S. Roberts. She enjoyed reading and studying the bible, attending church and she was a faithful servant.
After college she started her own daycare center and later transitioned to working with her husband running the family business. In 1997, she was employed with Tulsa Public Schools where she served 20 years as a loyal employee.
Opal was called home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2018. She was proceeded in death by her parents Charlie and Ineaz Frazier, brothers George Frazier, Charles Frazier (Hack), Paul Allen Frazier and sister Doris Watkins.
Opal was known as loving, kind, a giver with a generous heart. She was always willing to help others. Her love was unconditional and from her heart it could be told, her love was nutritional it was food that fed the soul.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Her loving husband Marcus Offord of 50 years, Daughter Angelia Thomas (Reggie), six siblings Robert Frazier, Martha Wells, Ora Shoate, Inez Frazier, Eugene Frazier and Dwayne Frazier; two grandchildren Brittaney ad Brandon Thomas, Godson Jakobe and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
I couldn't have ask for a better grandmother. You have done so much for me and I really appreciate everything. I will do everything I told you I was going to do. I love and miss you.
